Client stories
What buyers noticed after Space Insight read their vendor onboarding applications.
“They caught three mismatched registration numbers before we sent the file to legal. The memo was short enough that our buyer actually read it.”
— Hyejin Park, procurement lead, mid-size distributor
“We asked for a pre-submission check on a stubborn logistics supplier. The gap list was blunt about the expired cargo insurance — which stung, but saved us a formal reject.”
— Tomas Nguyen, vendor sponsor, import operations
“The wave summary showed the same missing bank-letter format across eight packets. Once we fixed the template, the rest of the month went quieter. Scheduling the mid-wave call took longer than I wanted, though.”
— Eunji Choi, vendor management, consumer goods
“Sora’s remediation briefing helped our plant manager understand which stamps mattered and which photocopies did not. No theatre — just page numbers.”
— Mark Sullivan, Korea country manager, specialty chemicals
Extended note: spring intake at a Gangnam trading desk
A trading company opening twelve new specialty-food suppliers asked Space Insight to audit the onboarding applications before the April cutoff. Packets arrived as shared folders with uneven naming. Our reviewers rebuilt a simple index, then audited against the buyer’s 22-line checklist.
Findings clustered around three themes: registration certificates scanned without the reverse side, questionnaire answers copied from an older affiliate entity, and insurance certificates that named a warehouse address no longer in use. The wave summary let the trading desk send one clarifying email template instead of twelve custom threads.
Two suppliers still needed a second pass after remediation. That second pass was billed as light follow-up hours agreed in the original wave quote — not a surprise invoice.
